Genius Loci translates to “the spirit of a place”. The brief dictated us to observe a space and create any outcome that truly reflected the spirit of the place. I worked with a busy, noisy pizza joint that served quick wood fired pizzas.
 

These illustrations were created using material available at hand, translating to quick sketches of the space, people and conversations in the ambience. The red neon lighting and the informality of the space, are translated within the style of the drawings.
